Whereas the school houses and grounds are being continously injured and defaced by trespassers and whereas the discipline of the school and particilarly of the High School is being interfered with by young men and boys who habitually frequent the vicinity of the schools for the purpose of communicating with the pupils: and whereas the school authorities are without adequate protection against these evils : Therefore be it resolved that we do respectfully ,but earnestly re-quest the City Council to adopt such measures by ordinance, or oth-erwise as will effectually protect the schools, the buildings, and the grounds from trespassers of every kind.
