Ft Worth, Texas, Dec. 26th 1902

To the Hon. Mayor and City Council of Ft. Worth,

Gentlemen:-

Through some inadvertency or misunderstanding, my tax rendition for the year just closing is incorect and I beg to ask that taxes be assessed on property as follows, which is a correct statement of my Credits and Real Estate as they stood January 1st 1902;-

Credits Notes and Bills $1300. Cashier's Check $1680.

Lots 3 & 4 in Block E. $150 Billevue Addition each 300.

Other property such as Household goods etc. was rendered correctly, and should stand as reduced.

I attach hereto statement signed by Thompson & Thompson (contractors) stating that they built my home during the months of January, February & March 1902, which would indicate that my house assessed at $2000, should be out entirely out of the rendition.

You will also please note attached hereto certified statement from the Farmers
