To the Hon Mayor and City Council

Gentlemen:- Whereas the following bonds have been exchanged for refunding bonds, and duly cancelled by the Comptroller of Public Accounts of the State of Texas and are within the hands of the City Secretary, to wit'

1st Series Redemption 6% Bonds 6000 00 Nos. 12 & 26 to 30 inclusive
2nd Series 7% " 9000 " 16, 36, 37, 67, 68, 70, 125, 126 & 127
3rd " 5% " 9000 " 142 to 145 incl. 129, 193, 206, 207 & 218
4th " 5% " 3000 " 14, 15 & 16
5th " 5% " 25000 " 19, 20, 43, 52, 64, 68 to 72 incl. & 78 to 92 incl.
6th " 5% " 18000 " 3 to 9 incl. 22 to 29 incl & 86 to 88 incl.
7th " 5% " 40000 " 17 to 28 incl, 106 to 108 incl, 166 to 173 incl, 191 & 219 to 234 incl.
8th " 6% " 2000 " 127 & 128
Old Water Works 7% " 10000 " 78 to 87 incl.
Water Works Mortgage 6% " 5000 " 144 to 148 incl.
A total of 127 Bonds Amounting to $127000 00
We therefore recommend that the Mayor and City Secretary be instructed to destroy said bonds.

FORT WORTH, TEXAS, July 17th 1901

The Honorable City Council Ft Worth Tx

Gentlemen

Referring to the enclosed affidavit. I hereby petition that the valuation on property mentioned be reduced to the actual value of Vacant lot which was rendered for taxation in 1899 at $300.00.

I am ready at any time to pay all taxes due on property in question said property was valued in 1900 at $1250.00 by making this reduction you will greatly oblige.
