erty values were inflated, and all kinds
commercial enterprises were becoming.
the general outlook was, the end of inflation
would not be reached. this side of
the next generation. and all enormous
interest rate on said bonded indebtedness
has been entailed upon our people
so much so, our revenues have been
taken year after year to keep our
audit good, while our public
enterprises languished, and whole city
government reduced poverty for want
of enough revenue to keep it in efficient
condition, and Wheras, we as a people
desire to do justice to all our creditors
and pay them their "pound of flesh? but
beleive a bondholder who can get 1.24 for
6% bond, is getting 1/3 more now
than he got when he paid 95 cents on the
