To the Hon, Mayor and City Council,
Fort Worth, Texas.
Gentlemen:
In the matter of repairs on School buildings, I return herewith copy of specifications covering the bulk of the work. Matters such as repairs to concrete walks, asbestos pipe covering, roof joists etc., will best be taken up separately; I am at work on those items and they will be completed shortly.
As to the various plumbing repairs, I recommend that the city plumber be allowed to employ a journeyman plumber for two weeks at 3.50 per day and be instructed to put all plumbing in good repair. He informs me that this amount of extra assistance is ample.
I further recommend that the City Electrician be instructed to repair lighting rods on the 3rd ward School and electric bells in 9th ward School .
All of which is respectfully submitted.
