My dear Mrs. Lake; Let me correct an error in a common name I gave you. That Bumelia lanuginosa is not False Buckthorn but Wooly Buckthorn. The Rhamnus caroliniana, found in that ravine where you collected the Maiden Hair or Venus-hair Fern is Carolina Buckthorn.
