Mrs. Will F. Lake
1415 Grand Ave.
City,

My dear Mrs. Lake: -
Pardon me for not acknowledging
sooner your letter with pictures taken on the Azle
trip. I think you very much for your thoughtful-
ness in sending them; I was anxious to know how
successful you had been in your efforts to secure
a good picture of the different flowers you took.
Had the weather been more favorable, I am sure you
would have been able to secure many excellent
samples of Tarrant Co. flora. But everything was then,
and is yet, so dry, that scores of plants generally
in flower at this time of the year, can not be
found anywhere. I was very glad, too, to know of a
second locality where the Maiden Hair Fern can be found.
Mrs. Ruth joins me in very kind wishes for your
welfare, and her thanks for the very pleasant trip you
gave us,
Sincerely,
A. Ruth.
