Memorandum! Now about 18 years old, John Mouse, after having been taken prisoner by the Indians, 4 years ago last Spring, at the upper end of the South Branch of Plomock River, hath lived with the Wyandots near Fort de Troil, & said to have been delivered up Since by the Indians, but not come home: the last that was heard of him is, that he had been sold to an Englishman, Suppose a trader. his brother George Mouse, taken at the same time & place hath been seen at the Indian Town Sagunck below Fort Pitt, where he lived with an Indian named Galasco. the boy is now about 15 or 16 years of age. their sister Elisabeth Mouse was taken at the same time & place, because they were in a Fort, is likewise 15 or 16 years of age: no intelligence in the least is had of her Since her being taken. If these children or any one of them could be found, so that they may be brought back again to their relations they may be directed either to Frederick Mouse at Philadelphia or William Stoy at Lancaster Dutch Pres= byterian minister there.
