To make a Rice-kake
Take 16 Eggs leave out 8 whits, theye rinds of two
Lemmons, a pound of sugar, a pound of pounded
Rice-; beat it two hours, and bake it in a quick Ove

To make theye Rubarb Cordial.
Take half an ounce of rubarb to a quarter of Brandy
& one ounce of Anniseeds lett 'em stand for a week or
ten days, decant of theye clea[...] & put a fresh pint on the
dregs, lett that stand a for[...]ight, then streen it of and
mixe ye two Liquors tog[...]ther, which keep for use.
