Teake wyndowe glasse and beate it to powder, then beate the like
qunatety of Baysalte and Myngell it wth the Joyce of Rew and
the best Aquavite you can gett, and lett it be thick lyke a plaster
and bynde the same to the hande wrestes of the patient half an
hower before his fytt commeth and in three dressinges it wilbe whole//

To deliver a woman of a dead childe
Teake Leeke blades and scalde them in whott water and bynde them aboute
her mavell and it shall caste out the dead chyld: And as soone as shee is delivered
take away the Leekes or els shee whill cast out all that is in her boddy. And
lett her drink of the Joyse of Muggwort and of Rew and shee shalbe delivered
the sooner: But use not this Medicin to any that the chylde is quick
for it will kyll the childe:/

of Ashe drye all those eatch muche and make them in powder then toake of
Amhserds and Licores beaten into powder and myxte all these powders together
the take a littell white wyne in a spoone being well in the wyne and the
powder and so take it every morning fastynyd for fyve or six morninges
togeither and yt will preserve you from the Collycke
