Lett them bee sett in the bedd, bowinge or crowchinge
there heade unto there knee, and no maner sittinge doubble
and lett a man or woeman wth there fiste or thombe, thruste
downe underneathe ye calke of the stomacke under the breste
bone, and as mightelie as yow can the space of an howre : or more
yf need bee: And if the partie bee owercome yt theye can nott
speake, ytt shall bringe them agayne unto there speeche
and sattill the mother. / and yf theye bee well handled, theye
shall neuer have ytt agayne./ and beware all that nighte
of annie sooddaine tourninge: butt as easelie as theye can
remooue theme selfe./ and all thatdaye and weeke followinge
beware of liftinges or wrinchinges untill the mother
bee fullie settled./ and thoughe theye feele greate payne
wth greate holdinge, remooue nott amaye the fiste or hande
for no desire, for if yow doo the mother will rise againe

Take gotes milke and seeth ytt untill the thirde parte
be wasted. withe hempe seede, triackle, and water of Betany
as muche as of the milke, and so lett them seethe untill the
thirde parte bee sodden in, and drincke ytt iij dayes, for
a better meddcine is there none:/
