An excellent remedie for the pockes
confirned:

The firste is an unction which muste be used twise a daye
from the knees downewarde: and the armes from the ellbows
by the space of fowre or sixe dayes: forma sequitur.
Take of cinabre ounceij of framkensence of liquide surax
ana ounce mingle them moansnumstram: / ye muste sett the
patiente naked under a strayte canapie, and ye muste
laye upon coles the vth parte of the reccipte: and the patiente
muste enforce him selfe to reccive the smoke keepinge the
fyer betweene his legges: untill hee beginne to sweate
and then hee muste laye him in a bedd: and cause him
to sweate so doeinge the space of fowre dayes: till the
teethe beginne to ake: This cure muste bee doone in
a desperat case: and when the remedyes made with the Mercurie
prodcue nott goode effecte./ This muste bee used the

rines of Limons and apples an ounce whiche muste bee used
as aforesaid./ Yee shall knowe the goode operatione of this

the forsaide remedies muste bee renewed:Peyne and ulceracon
