Take siney leaues drames 3. white ginger drames one, the flower
of Buglas drames 2:/ mingled togeather in a newe cleane stone potte
withe a narrowe mouthe and one pinte of whaye of Gotes milke
this pott muste bee closelie couered in the mouthe that no eyare
pulle forthe. this doone sett itt in a vessell withe hott water and
so lett itt seethe by the space of two houres and then take itt free
ytt from the fier and sett itt in a close place untill itt be colde and
the vapore cleane delaied then straine itt and drinke itt in the morning
this clothes purge choller duste and mellanchollie: / this when being
dronke preuaileth againste all passions of the braine from the head
doune to the bottome of the bladder and helpethe all the sences
and will strengthen all the boddye and dothe unburthen all the
some of euerie humor that dothe abounde: as choller fleame
and mellanchollie.

To purge mellancholy and choller
Take a good quantitye of the rootes of polipodium well
scraped sliced and a littell brused and the rootesof Dandelion
whassed cleane and sliced and seeth them togeather in posset
