Against Stammering
Take the pellets made of Castor and pelleter and the roote of the
piony and temper it well with triacle and lett him hould the pelletts
under his tongue and it will helpe his speech. /

Take rew ans pelleter sage and Canell and senry and salt and boyle
it well together in oyle untill halfe bee wasted and annoynt thee
therewith and it shall helpe thee. /

shall cease bleeding. /

Take ould goates dunge and hould it to a mans nose and it greately
stancheth the bleeding.

Take saffrone and moyst with liquour and fill a nut shell
with the saffron and lay it above on his navell and binde

Take an handfull of plantane and lett it bee broken and sodden
in water and when it is in seething take Lamme ferre cale
and lett it bee quenched in that water and afterwarde lett the
leecke make milke of almons of this water and then lett the
sicke drinke thereof /.

Against the Collicke
Take white Elebory and a white oyntment called aprippanum
and a bitter herbe called –––––––– and the fatnesse of an honey
