The cureing of the stone and first if it bee of a
hott humoour

In the mornring give him draprmuion and in the evening ginger
with oximell and lett him take it with water that harts-
tonge mayden haire parsley seeds and the iiii cold seedes bee-
sodden in. /
Afterwards give him the electuary of the juyce of roses. /
The third day after make him a bath of mercury of worms
savine leaves and ome leaves tormentell Cinquefoile and –
sorrell with burnett. And when hee cometh out of the bath
give him broth that sorrell harts tonge and endive bee –
boyled in. /
The next day after lett him blood in the veine under the ankle
in the out side, if the stone bee in the veines in the inner –
side if the stone bee in the bladder. /
Annoynt the place with [Popuelion] and vinegar. / And lay this –
plaster theron. / Take sorrell, porcelane and the 4 could seeds –
arach and soudrell and the seedes of fennell and parsley seeds
brate them to powder and temper them with vinegar and white
wine or with vinegar and the juyce of mercury. /
Burne him with a hott Iron in the hamme if the stone bee
in the veines or in the inner side of the thigh ig it bee in the –
bladder.
Take diaprunum and mingle it with the electuary of the juyce
of roses. and lett him every weeke east thereof the quantitie of
a Chesnutt once a weeke when hee goeth to bed. /
Give him a sirrupe of harts tonge mayden hayre of both sorts
politrichion and adiantum Cete[r...ch] Endive, of the roote of fennell
and of saxifrage boyle all these together in faire water –

And clense it well and put thereto sugar Lett him take –
thereof the quantitie of an egshell full with thrice whereof
soe much warme water and let him use this from 2 dayes –
to three dayes. /
Alsoe take the 4 cold seedes Lettuce seeds parsley seeds of the
seedes of sorrell purcelane and of Saxifrage spikenard galingale
the powder of harts thyme and his blood and goats milke
of all these a like quantitie and burne them to powder make
round balls of that powder with rose water of the white of it
lett him eate one of them at a time and use it from 2 dayes
to 3 dayes. /

The cure of the stone comeing of a could clammy
humoure. /

Lett him use oximel diuriticke or oximel squillitick.
Afterwards make him a bath of fennell rootes parsley rootes
and of march, of caraway and dancus saxifrage and milium –
solid sodden in water lett him sitt in that bath up to the navel
and after this give him triacle with wine that saxifrage and
inibum solis were boyled in. /
On the morrowe open the veine that is under the ancle and
if the stone bee in his veines, let him use this bath of the seeds in the
third or fourth age of the moone and lett him use the sirrupe
following. /
Take the juyce of radish and of saxifrage a like quantitie and –
seeth it over an easie fire. Clense it and put therto sugar or
Take the rootes of parsley of fennell and of merch of dancas
Caraway and of radish of Cinquefoile saxifrage and of bryars
that growe in the feild burnst and langue debief boyle them –
in water put therto suger and make a sirrupe. /
An oyntment for this stone. / Take the huyces of victicella
of saxifrage of radish or burnett or water lillies, and of
Langue debiefe medle these juyces together with oyle of layes
or with some other hott oyle; Boyle them till the juyce bee
wasted away then mingle swines greace therewith and make
thereof an oyntment./
And make a plaster of hysope and of saxifrage boyled
together
