warme over it and it will helpe the panie.
For the palsie
Take slices of hot breade and lay unto the place where the palsie
is, soe hott as you may suffer it slice after slice.
A drinke for the same
Take rosemary sauve Betony Maiorane of each mj and halfe
a pinte of English honey, boyle all these together in 3 pints of
white wine, till half be wasted and soe drinke it 9 mornings
lasting blood warme, and by gods grace it will hepe you.
For running of the reynes
Take a new layd egge breake one end and pouer out the white
then put into the egge as much fine powder of mastich as will
almost fill it up, set it on the hott embers but let them not bee
too hott that the egge may roste leasurily with the powder and
alswayes stirre it till it bee a little [niore] then through hott
for when it is halfe rosted it is enough sup of this in the morning,
and Continue it till you have spent of the powder ℥j
To make sweete water
Take powder of Iris powder of Calamus, aromaticus powder

of cyperus rootes with powder of Cloves and dryed rose leaves, and mixe
them with powder of beurem and styrax Calamint and mulke them
put this powder into rosewater and let it steepe one day and a night
and then distill it in a glasse still.
A distilled water for some burneing or blasting of
the face
Take six new layd eggs and let them lye in sharpe wine vinegar
a night and a day till the shells bee of them then take white and
the skins from the yeles and put them into a pottle of new milk
with these herbs following, of beane flowers a grate handfull
of daysies rootes and all, of wilde tansey, of woodbine leaves flower
and all, plantane leaves pine leaves of each mj lymons 6 all
these distill together.
For the toothache
Take Crowefoote rootes, bay stalt, rosemary leaves of each a like
quantitie put them in a newe lymon cloth that was never washed
bind them up in little pelletts.
A powder for those that bee troubled with the
heaviness of malanchollike humours
Take of buglosse flowers, of betony flowers, rosemary flowers
borage flowers of each mj Chicorie flowers Endive flowers
of each mjs put all these flowers in a pinte of malovasie
3 spoonsfull of a guacomposta and soe lett them steepe 3 or 4
dayes then straine them out and give the patient before dinner
one spoonefull and likewise after dinner and soe likewise
before and after supper.
To keepe one soluble
Take whay as it comeeth from the cheese and put in it honey
and salt and drinke it in the morneing, and eate figgs that
have layne all night in water and honey sodden together
and boyle polipody in your broth with thyme for to purge
melancholly.
For the same
Make pottage of mallows mercurie, violet leaves any seede
sweete prunes and a little sugar.
