And boyle it, in the boyling put in crums of white bread grated
red rose Leaues the powder of Cumin and boyle them together

then take Sorrell leaues and wrap them in a dock leafe or in
a browne paper and rost it till it bee soft and lay thereto
when the sore is broken stamp a good handfull of smallage
and strayne it take the iuyce of it and put therto the yelke
of an egg and halfe a spoonefull of hony temper the same
with wheat flower till it bee thick like salue make your
plaster thereof and wett your [tenits] in the same if the sore
neede [tenit]ing

For ach in any parte of the body

Take x or xii. handfulls of broome flowers and a pottle of
olliue oyle stamp the flowers smale and put it in a cleane
vessell and lett it stand soe x or xij dayes then boyle it and
sett it in the sunne with a little may butter and put it in a
glasse or earthen pott and annoynt the sore place.

For them that bee Costiue

Take the gall of a bullock and annoynt your belly beneath
the nauell and if you would vomitt annoynt you aboue the nauell.

For could in the stomack and brest

Take a quarte of Clarett wine synamon ginger and
a nutmuge make them in grosse powder and take a Peece
of Elecampane roote scraped cleane and dryed putt all
these in the wine with a quantitie of sugar as you thinke
good in a close pott let it stand a day and a night, Afterwards
let it runne through an ypocrass bag and drink it.

For heate in the stomack or a hott ague

Take of greene Endiue Chicory violett leaues cinquefoyle
of each Mj. seeth all these in a quarte of runing water to a
pinte lett the water runne through a cloth from the herbs
sett the Liquor to the fyer againe putting to it a spoonefull
of wine vineger and a little sugar let them seeth together
till a drop will stand on your nayle and not rune of.

For the vnula

Take a pinte of woodbine water woodbine leaues and rose
leaues of each Mfs an half pennyworth of stone hony boyle
these together with a greate peece of Allum till almost the
half be consumed then put a doss[en] sage leaues to it and let
it seeth after a doss[en] walmes straineit and vse it take the
sage leaues and rubb the place with them and wash it with
a spoonefull of the Liquor warme.

A remedy for the cough

Take a quarte of good ale and set it on the fier skiming it
cleane boyle therein two or three good fennell rootes scraped
cleane the pith taken out and bruised in a morter a quantity
of Liquerice bruised in a morter being first cleane scraped
aniseede Mfs cleane sifted and bruised in a morter lett
them boyle to together for a pretty space then take of
greate reasins washed and picked cleane and bruised in a morter
Mfs and let it seeth a walme or two after it when it is almost
