For the Eyes

Take sullendine, pounded & strained the juice into
a little hony mingled together & dropt into the Eye,
then take the white of an egg, & beat it to an Oyle then
take a little flax finely picked, the bigness of the
Eye dip it in the white of the Egg, & lay it one the
Eye assoone as you have dropped the sullendine &
hony, this is good for any thing that groweth in the
Eye;

To make Sirrop of Burrage flowers

Take 6 Ounces of flowers to a pinte & half of
water you must heat your water very hott, & put in
your flowers, & let them stand all night stopt close you
must take 4 pd & a halfe of Suger & straine your -
flowers into your Suger & boyle it up.
