name & Title of Lord Appin To Have & to hold to
[him & his ?] with all the privileges
[p? ?], precedencies, places, immunities & other
advantages, which by the Laws & Customs of Our said
ancient Kingdom do appertain, in as full & ample
manner as any other Lord of Our said Kingdom does
hold the same. Which Letters Patent are likewise
to contain all such clauses as are necessary for making
the same valid & effectual And We hereby Dispence
with all [requirements,] if any be herein containd, And
Ordain Our said Letters Patent to pass Our Great Seal
of Our said Ancient Kingdom of Scotland per saltum
without passing any other Register or Seal, For doing
whereof this shall be a sufficient Warrant. Given at
Our Court at Albano this sixth day of June 1743, In
the 42 year of Our Reigne. JR
