Uppon the [] of the cause in controversie betwene the said parties [[by] the right]honorable Sir Nicholas Bacon knight Lord [[keeper] of the] great Seale of England whiche [was c?nded ? ? ?] by the Righte honorable the Lorde [? and others of her Msties moste] honorable pryvye counsel [for ?uge ?] disposicion and vsage of all & singuler the [f? ? Elesettes ? in the Rulers] or [scr? ? descendinge vnto the ? ? ?the] ffrom one bridge called wenbridge. And from an other bridge called St Olyves bridge. And from the third[place [calle]]d Hardoley Crosse vnto which severall [place? the Libertie ? ?] the said towne do extende vppon the said Ryvers [It is ?] ordered that the [....ves] of the said towne for the tyme being shall yerelie have [.......ce] assignment disposicion and distribucion of all and singular the said settes withoute interrupcion in such manner and forme [that] they [have] vsed the same by the space of thirtie yeres laste paste And accordinge to the trewe meanynge of an order ^lately made by Sir Christofer Heydon Knight and Rafe Shelton [?] esquyer concerynge the said Elesettes And further that the said defendauntes or any of them or any other person or persons by their or any of their consente meanes or procuremente shall not take any Eles or other thinge whatsoever for pitchinge the seates called mierpooles at any of the said settes untill such further matter be shewed proved and allowed before the Comyssion

followinge therfor by the said defendauntes. And it is further ordered that a Comyssion shalbe awarded and directed vnto Edmonde Busshoppe of [Moravichs] Sr Christofer Heidon and Sr william [Bretes knyghte ?n D?] esquyer at the equall chardges of the said [? ? ?] suynge out of the said Comyssion [? ?] for the [p?] of the same geving [? ? ?] to the said Comyssioners or to any three of them as well together and fynally [?] determyne the [? ? ? for port?inge] the said in myrepooles [ or ? ? th? c?] And also to examyne wytnesses on eyther of the said partes to be [?] vppon interrogation to be allowed by the said Comyssioners. And of thexecution of the said Comyssion [?] certyficate vnto the said Lord Keeper yf they [? ende] the said controversie together with [?] opynyons concernynge the same

Sr Nicholas Bacon Lord Keeper was born in 1510 . 2 . Hy. made Lord Keeper [? ?] 1558 . 1 . Eliz. [Was the first in that office] who ranked as Lord Chancellor. [? ?] 20 Feby. 1579 . 22. Eliz. after a long [happy] [? ? ?]
