BETH WALTON MOOR

Mrs. Moor was born in Pensacola and started the first grade when she was only four years old. Before graduating from high school there, she was exempted from two years of classes. While attending Florida State College for Women, now Florida State University, she earned expense money by working part-time and yet finished four years' work for a double degree in home economics and mathematics in three years, graduating in 1918. After she and Frank Moor were married, they moved to Tallahassee in 1924. They have two children, Bettie (Mrs. George Bedell), and William; and have seven grandchildren.
