in favor of reducing membership dues
from $5.00 to $3.00 p. year, the executive board
recommends that the by-laws be so
changed.
Therefore be it resolved that at
the next regular meeting the dues
shall be reduced by vote of member-
ship. The Pres. urged that each mem-
ber take this into consideration and
be prepared to vote at next regular
meeting
It was recommended that an
addition of a social department to the
Educational department be made to
keep in line with Fla Federation
Educational department. This was carried.
At the request of Mr. J.S. Nisbet
that club must settle at once payment of
note held by him on Woman's Club house,
Dr Graves was kind to pay off and
take up note -
It was announced that the
club would sponsor a series of
entertainments to be presented Jan.
1934.
It was moved, seconded and carried
that the club send $10.00 to children's
home, Jacksonville.
The meeting of sec. 3 of Federated
Clubs to be held in Monticello Dec. 6th
was announced by the Pres. Club mem-
bers were urged to attend as a pin is to
be given to the club having largest at-
tendance.
It was voted to send the Pres. Mrs
Tom Moore to Winter Park, Nov 14-16, to
attend the federation board meeting.
Sympathy for Mrs. Frank Duvall,
whose son was ill in Rome Ga. hospital,
was expressed, and the sec. was asked
