Mrs. Rivers a pair of silver candle sticks
as a gift of love from the board. Again
Mrs. Rivers expressed her appreciation.
Splendid reports were made by
the following chairmen.
Mrs. Bostain, welfare: A tremendous
amount of work has been done. Over
6000 garments have been collected and
distributed among the needy. $60.00 given
toward milk funds. $5.00 for quinine. $7. 70
for soup. $2.50 for needy man. Many
garments given hospital for charity pa-
tients.
Miss Gregg, Education: Interesting meet-
ing were held monthly, with special
programs.
Mrs. Ponton, Publicity: Many announc-
ments and articles for the press–
Mrs. Green, Club House: Much work
done, repairs made, etc –
Mrs. Duvall, Decoration – Decorated club
house for all occasions
Mrs. Boone, Citizenship: Arranged
programs on citizenship.
