Woman's Club meeting May 11, 1933
The May meeting of the woman's
club was held on the second Thursday
at 3.30 in the club house with the
president, Mrs. Rivers presiding. The
meeting opened with the salute to
the flag led by Mrs. Boone, followed
by the reading of the club creed in
unison.
The minutes of the last meet-
ing were read and approved. The
treasurer's report was read by Mrs.
Rivers as follows:

An inspring message from the
general Federation club Woman was read
by Mrs. Rivers. Mrs. Boone presented
the matter of signing the petition for
disarmament, sent out by The Women's
League for Peace, and distributed the
petition. Mrs. Norwood took the
chair while Mrs. Rivers gave her annual
report for the year past. Mrs. Rivers
said that fine work has been done
by all committees, but the out stand-
ing work of the year has been along
welfare lines, this being so desperately
needed. She expressed her heart-felt
appreciation of the co-operation of the
board, the chairmen, and club members.
At the close of the report Miss Greggs,
