every one to attend the
meetings, when an interesting
program is carried out.

The program for the afternoon
was under the direction of
the Beautification Comm, and
was conducted by Mrs. Fred
Moor in the absence of Mrs.
Knapp. Mrs. Moor presented
Miss Lena Barber, who sang
very delightfully ten [ ?]:
"Who is Sylvia" and Come
to the Fair", very ably accompanied
by Miss Jean [ ?]

Mr. A. D. Folweler, Assistant
State Forester, was introduced
and gave a most interesting
talk on preservation of our
wild life and the importance
of reforestation. He also suggested
that it would be a
good thing to make nature
study a required study in the
schools and colleges. Mrs. Fred
Moor gave a most interesting
and comprehensive report of
the [ ?] in Aver Park,
reporting a splendid attendance
in spite of financial conditions
at that time. Mrs. Rivers
reported that a bridge
tournament will be held
beginning Friday, April 21st,
the proceeds will go to meet club
expenses and toward the
retirement of the club debt.
