Board Meeting--March 8, 1933
The Board of The Woman's
Club met at the home of
Mrs. Rivers, Wednesday, March
8, with ten members present
Three new members were
voted to membership in The
Club: Miss Jadie Phipps, Miss
Laura Deen and Jean
Margaret Sandels.
A letter was read from Mrs.
Love in regard to the Clubs'
asking membership in The
Florida State Conference of Welfare
Workers. On motion by Mrs.
Fain, seconded by Miss Gregg,
the Board voted to defer
action on the matter.
Letter was read from Mrs.
[Stearns ?] asking for subscriptions
to The Club Woman to be
placed in libraries.
Mrs. Moor moved, Miss Shores
seconded that the club
not do this at present.o
On motion by Mrs. Moor
seconded by Mrs. Duval that
the Club accept Mrs. Voss
as a member again by the
payment of $5.00 back dues
and dues for the current year
carried. A discussion on
joint conditions followed.
There being no further
business the meeting adjourned.
