who stated that this
observance was initiated
by the Federation of Womans
Clubs. Mrs. Rivers announced
that the program will
be handled by the Preservation
Committee.

A letter from the National
Council of Woman was read
urging that more women
register at the Postal
Telegraph Co. 277 women
have registered while
Lee Club [ ?] has a quota
of 350. Letter from Mrs.
[Helveston ?] asking for the
annual report of the club
was read. A note of thanks
and appreciation for flowers
sent her while she was
sick was read from Mrs. Bond.
Miss. Gregg, chairman of the
nominating committee presented
the following ticket.
