W. V. KNOTT MANSION
Open Saturday and Sunday
Hours: 2:00 - 5:00

The stately old Knott Home with its imposing columns, was built in 1826 for
the bride of Thomas Holmes Hagner, then United States Minister to Great Britain.

Retired State Treasurer W. V. Knott and his authoress wife have lived here
over twenty years.

Among the many priceless antiques to be seen here are pieces of furniture over
one hundred years old, including an original Duncan Phyffe rosewood table and teak-
wood hand-carved cabinet. These were inherited from Mrs. Knott's grandparents.
