dear George I hope you will find sufficient encouragment to stay where you are oh how I wish we where all with you - it appears an age sinc I saw yow you all - and I promis my self so much happiness when we meat again after so long an absence - you say in your letter to you father the Grass is green an growning - hear there is there is scarcely a spear to be seen and as late as the 12 we had snow - oh how prefable - and much more delightfull is your Climate - then ours - perhaps I am too sangune but indeed expect to injoy more real happiness in our little coatage then I have for a long while known - adrew my dear son may health and happiness attend you - and I pray you let me have the promised letter soon god bless you is the ordend prayer of your affectionate Mother - dear joseph it is a long while sinc I had the pleasure of a line from you - I called and delivered your note to your Cousins - Ann informed me she had reacently written you a long letter and she hoped it wou'd get safe to hand - as she thought it wou'd amuse you - as she had given you Estracts from Louisa' letters - they have lately heard from her - and she continues to regain her health the your Cousins Smiths are going to give up there house in town and pass the summer in smithfield - I regreet

Dear Mary Ann I was happy very happy too hear by George William - that you wher quite well again I had been so anxous for you - and felt so gratefull to your kind friends for [?] my place for you joy they wher as a Mother to you - Miss L leaves us to morrow - to pass the summer with her friends - it is uncertain wether she accompanies us in the autum but I think if she is left to acct for her self she will as it is evident her inclination wou'd induce her to [page damaged] will I sepose be governed by the advise of her friend [damage] your sisters will therefore all go in town to school for the Summer - dear little frances speaks much of you - and longs to see you - indeed they all do - and are almost as impatient as I am to commence there western toure as I am - and yet I am so grate a coward I all most dread the journey I fear I shall not behave quite as well as you did however I will do my best and willingly oh how willingly undertake it for the sake of seeing you all - god bless you - be careful of your heaalth for your own and your Mother sake - dear john althou I have nothing new to comunicate I cou'd not close my letter with out enquiring after your health - and to say how much I wish to see you - and hope to have the pleasure of a letter from you soon my paper will not permit me to say more God bless you
