Great Bargains. Land & Town Lots at Auction. WILL BE SOLD AT PUBLIC AUCTION, ON Monday the 12th of November Next, in the Town of Owensborough, at the Yellow-Banks, ABOUT ONE HUNDRED TRACTS OF LAND, FOUR HUNDRED ACRES EACH, being part of May, Banister & Company's survey of ONE HUNAND FIFTY-SEVEN THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED AND TWENTY TWO ACRES, lying upOhio River and Panther Creek, being so much of said tract as remains clear of interference, after plafting out onflicting claims, and which has been sectionised into small tracts to suit purchasers; plainly marked and numo as to admit of being examined with without difficulty. This land lies from four to twelve miles above Owe s, and from 90 to 100 below Louisville. Plats of it will be furnished by Mr. Philip Triplett, living in the of Owensborough, to any person wishing to view the land. He will also , in the absence of one of the subscribert Triplett, (who will be upon the premises in a few weeks ) have the said land shewn, or give any inforelative to it, which may be required. Also, ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED ACRES, n River, twelve miles from Owensborough, in the same names. ALSO, ONE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED AND SIXTY ACRES, on Clover Creek, about five miles from the Ohio, thirty-five above the Yellow Banks, and five miles from Hardinsburg, in the same names. SO, THREE THOUSAND FIVE DRED AND SIXTY-SEVEN SCRES, rn, on Bear Creek, near Green River, Grayson County. going are all the lands, belonging said concern in this section of country in a situation to be sold at but all the lands belonging to that company, for the greater facility of managing the business, have centered their titles in nstees, James Prentis, and obert K. Jones, of Petersburg, and Thomas T. Bouldin of Richmond, all of who have appointed one of the subscribers (Robert Triplett) their attorney in fact, with instructions o of the lands of said concern, either privately or at a public auction, for the purpose of closing the bus ness company; and probably no opportunity will soon occur, when the i dustrious farmer with money enough to first payment, will find o good an opportunity of securing himself a home upon such easy terms. lands will be sold for ONE SIXTH PART IN HAND, the balance in TWO, THREE AND FOUR TEAR , - QUAL PAYMENTS. And here, in many instances no doubt $100 or $200 will make the first payment on a fine farm, and with ordinary industry and management, even the hogs which might be raised would complete the remaining payments. Upon the same terms and in the same time, the subscriber R.T. as attorney in fact for Thomas T. Bouldin, Exr. of D. Ross, deed, will sell positively. ONE LOT No. ONE, FOUR HUNDRED ACRES, part of 2000 on Clover Creek, three miles from Hardinsburg, patented to David oss, a tract of prime land, with Clover Creek running through the heart of it. This lot is to be sold merely to br ng the remainder into market by procuring a settlement there. At the same time the remainder will bo sold it a moderately reasonable price can be obtained. At the same time will be offered and sold if but a moderate price can be obtained FOUR OR FIVE LOTS OF THREE AND FOUR HUNDRED ACRES EACH, from two to three miles from Owensborong, being part of Ross and May's survey of 5656 acres on the Ohio river at the Yellow Banks, on the same terms as the foregoing. ALSO, at the same time will be sold, ALL THE LOTS IN THE TOWN OF OWENSBOROUGH, owned by Ross and May, being one half of the same- for one fourth in hand, and two, three and four years for the balance. In all the foregoing sales a leiu on the property will be the only security required. The geographical situation of Owensborough, by viewing the Map of Kentucky, will be found such as to ensure its rise and rapid improvement, as the country becomes settled about it. It is the nearest point of land on the Ohio for a large district of country, for which it must become the poiny of depot and entrepot. To mechanics we think it promises a fine harvest and they would do well to attend the sale.
