Thank you for your letter ov October
22d, enclosing prints of your photographs of the Mayor
Memorial Tablet at Tortugas. We are glad to have these
records.

Dr. Merriam has authorized an allotment of
$50 from available funds with which to meet the expenses
of your preliminary anatomical studies of hybrid Cerions
and we shall be glad to meet such expenses as you incur
in this connection and on this account.
