Proved at London the 14th October 1831 before the Judge by the &
Oaths of William Porter the Brother and Mary Porter Widow the &
do list during her Widowhood, the Executors to whom Admon was in
granted having been first sworn (to wit) the said William Porter by a
Couson and the said Mary Porter before the Worshipful John Addams
Doctor of Laws and Surrvyor duly to administer—

I Ron Powell of No 40 William Steet— Regents Park in the County
of Middlesex Widow being weak in body but of sound and disposing a
mind memory and understanding do make this my last Will and
Testament in manner and form following, I will and direct all my
just debts funeral and testamentary expences be fully paid and satisfied bye
my Executors hereinafter named I give and bequeath unto my Grandson one
Robert Pearson my silver watch And I give devise and bequeath unto my
Daughter Elizabeth Parks Wife of John Jacks of No 2 Crown Street Soho my
Son Joseph Powell my Daughter Mary Pearson the Wife of Robert Pearson
of Clearland Street Fitsroy Square and my Daughter Charlotte Dowling with
whom I [... write] all the rest and residue of my plate linen china various
apparel [...... ...... money] in the funds securities for money and debts
due to me at the time of my decease and all other my personal estate and
affects of what nature or kind soever and whenso ever the same shall be at
the time of my death to be equally divided amongst them and every of
them share and share alike And I do nominate constitute and appoint
my said Son Joseph Powell and Benjamin Whitaker of No 54 [Minon] Street
Sowers Tower Executors of this my last Will and Testament and evokinge
and making void all and every other In Will or Wills at any kind heretofore
by me made and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament In
witness whereof I the said Testatrix have hereunto set my hand and seale
this twenty fifth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and twenty seven— The mark of X Rose Powell {SS}— Signed
sealed published and declared by the above named Rose Powell as and for
her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at her bequest and
in her presence have subscribed our names as witnesses thereunto— Wm
Williams No 67 Drummond St Euston Sqre — Sarah Collins No 40 &
William St Regents Park—
Whereas I Rose Powell of No 29 Oxford Street in the County of
Middlesex Widow late of No 40 William Street Regents Park in the said
County have made published and declared mylast Will and Testament in &
writing bearing date the fifth day of April in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and twenty seven Now I the said Rose Powell do
by this present Codicil bo my said last Will and Testament and which I order
and direct as and for a part thereof give and bequeath unto my said Grandson
Robert Pearson (mentioned in my said Will) Son of Robert Pearson the sum
of fifty pounds to be paid out of my said Daughter's share Mary Pearson &
the Wife of Robert Pearson when he arrives at the age of twenty one years
but in case any part of the said sum of fifty pounds should be required to
apprentice out the said Robert Pearson I desire my Executors to whom & to
retain sum out of the above mentioned sum as may seem requisite to
and proper for that purpose according to their discretion and which I direct
may be paid by my Executors names in my said Will and I hereby ratify this
and reafirm my said Will I a witness whereof I have set my hand and a
