Remarks on board Thursday the 7th. These [ILLUSTRATION] - Whale tail - 60 24 hours Commences with pleasant weather and saw ?plenty of whale and lowered and Mr Fordham boat got fast and killed it and got it along side and cut it in. 135 Days out

Remarks on board Sunday the 10th of Nov. These 24 hours Commences with fresh Breeze. We finished ?trying. We saw several [ILLUSTRATION] Whale tail - 66 whale and lowered the boats and got one and cut him in. 138 Days out

Remarks on board Tuesday the 12th. These 24 hours Commence with light winds and Calm. At day light called all hands [ILLUSTRATION] Whaletail - 80 and begun to brake out the hole for to stow down. We saw a whale and lowered the boats and struck and killed it and cut it in. 140 Days out

Remarks on board Wednesday the 13th. These 24 hours Commences with Cals. Stowed the oil down. Saw a plenty of whale and very shy ?bill struck and soon got loose 141 Days out

Remarks on board Sunday the 17th. These 24 hours Commences with pleasant Breeze. We saw a sail and shortly after we saw [ILLUSTRATION] Whale tail - ?60 a whale and lowered the boats and Mr Jones boat got fast and we soon killed and got it along side of the ship and cut it in. AM saw another whale [ILLUSTRATION] Whale tail - 60 and Mr Jones and the Capt boats lowered and Mr Jones got fast and soon killed it and got it along side and cut it in. 145 Dys out

Remarks on board Monday the 18th. These 24 hours Commences with pleasant weather. We saw several whale and chased them. AM saw a whale and Mr Jones and Mr Fordham boats lowered and Mr Fordhams boat got fast and they soon killed it and got it along side of the ship. We spoke the Ship Jones of new London ?boat Master with 13 whale. 146 Days out

Remarks on board Wednesday the 20th. These 24 hours Commences with rugged weather. This day we hooked the fore hatch. AM heavy gale of wind. We put out the fire and went below. 148 Days out

Remarks on board Saturday the 23. These 24 hours Commences with more moderate so that we finished trying and stowing down the oil. We spoke the Ship Mariah of New Bedford with 9 hundred Barrels. 151 Days out

Remarks on board Sunday the 24. These 24 hours Commences with a heavy gale of wind and rain with thunder and lightning and ends with the same. 152 Days out

Remarks on board Monday the 25. These 24 hours Commences with a heavy gale of wind and ends with the same. A plenty of whale around us. 153 Days out

In AM the boats [ILLUSTRATION] Whale tail - 90 lowered downand Mr. Jones soon got fast and we soon killed it and got it along side and cut it in. The Ship Amazon got one. 155 Days out

Remarks on board Friday the 29th. These 24 hours Commences with pleasant breeze. We saw a whale and lowered the boats [ILLUSTRATION] Whale tail - 80 and gave chase but could not catch it. They came aboard and soon lowered again and Mr. Jones boat got fast and we soon killed it and got it along side and cut it in. Latter part very rugged and squally with some rain. 157 Days out
