You remember that Marguerite died of Typhoid.
Bobby is married & I don´t know what Hugo
is doing.
Edith Howenstine says I´d be sure I´d see her
Brother in-law in Paris - & her sister has started
for home. (This last week I believe)
Dr. Whitcomb says to be sure to see Dr. who´s
name she gave you - (in Paris). She´s sure he´ll be
very kind & quite interesting!
Kept your little card that came with the perfume
you sent from Havana & as I reread it I wondered whether I
mentioned getting it & how much I like the scent and enjoyed
receiving it & being remembered in Havana. I love the perfume so I
kept it.
You say you received no steamer letter from me - I-m cross as
the devil about it. Spent one special delivery air mail to the
a.w.a. in plenty of time - mailed before Con´s - to the steamer
which you got - & I had made a little sachet for you as a
goodbye bit that would stay with you for a while & enclosed it
in the letter - I-m madder than mad about it, am hoping it will
still reach you somehow - Have written a.w.a. about it.
Am glad the box with dress reached you - was it forwarded
or did you get in in N.Y.
I thought as was the case that you would [get] so much at
the steamer that I would send mine a bit before to
the Hotel - So you could enjoy it & have it with you -
I feel in a ramblin mood - so mellow from air & Sun-
shine & full of food after supper I got for family tonite,
