Comrade Henry Thomas Rochefort

Who was born the twelfth day of November A.D. 1844 in
Abington, County of Plymouth, State of Massachusetts

Entered the service July 14, 1864 at Readville Mass., as a Private in Company A, 60th Regiment Regi-ment
Infantry M.V.M. (100 days)
and was discharged therefrom as a Private, at Boston Mass.
Nov 30, 1864, by reason of expiration of term of service.

Length of service. 4 months - 16 days.

This regiment saw no service at the front, being sent to Indianapolis, Ind. where it
did duty guarding rebel prisoners.

The subject of this sketch mentions among those with whom he was intimately associated associ-ated
in service - comrades George H. Hunt, J.S. Turner, E.C. Pool and C.H. Pool.
