Bill came back from leave
28 Thur - Innocents' Day
Still very cold. Thawed
little in afternoon. Helped Mummy all the
morning. Made a stew. Mummy & I went to Little
Thetford in afternoon & met Miss Cheesewright at
[ities] L & C. Colin Dave Denys & Leslie
came in in evening & Bill came in late.

29 Fri - Full Moon 3.38 p.m.
Very cold freezing
all day. Helped Mummie all the morning
cleaned my bedroom & the hall & went to Sutton.
Wrote 2 letters in afternoon. Went with Daddy
and Colin skating in the moonlight down
[a] Gault. Had a lovely time.

30 Sat - s.r. 8.6, s.s. 4.0

Thawed all day so
[...] skating. Helped Mummy all the morning
went to Sutton & did errands in
afternoon. Had a bath. Read in the
evening. Dave & Colin came in and
P/O Bruce Crawford Pilot. Played a game.

Push on with the digging of vacant ground when con-
ditions are favourable. Review the past season's cropping
results and try to account for any failures which have
occurred, with a view to obtaining better results in the
coming year.
