22 SUNDAY
Cooler weather. Went to S School
in morning and taught primary. F.L.
Hump came in afternoon and stayed to tea.
He took Sheila and I for a long walk
in evening.

23 MONDAY
Nice day. Mummy washed.
Did not get up until 10 o'clock.
Went for a cycle ride with F.L. Hump
to see if blackberries were ready.

24 TUESDAY
Helped Mummy in morning and did
some ironing. Auntie Marion and
Ian and Roger came for tea.
We walked back with them. F L. Hump
came in evening.

25 WEDNESDAY
Helped Mummy in morning. She
went to Mrs Gimberts in afternoon.
I did some ironing. F.L. Hump came to tea
played a crazy game of hockey in evening.
George came and we played games.

26 THURSDAY
Poured with rain most of day.
Went to Ely with Mummy and had teeth
inspected and pinafore dress fitted. Mummy
bottled some pears. In afternoon took
Peter for a walk. Did sewing in evening.

27 FRIDAY
Quite cold wet day. Went to Sutton
in morning. Cleaned out my bedroom and
Mummy's. Washed and ironed some things
in afternoon and evening.

28 SATURDAY
Poured with rain all the morning.
Sheila and I went to Ely. I went to
a dentist and had two teeth filled.
[15/d]. Mummy and Daddy went to pictures
in evening. F.L Hump looked after us.
