MAY 1943

2 SUNDAY
Went to Sunday school and then
played for primary and taught. Went to
Sunday school in afternoon and then
went for walk with Roger. Read in evening.

3 MONDAY
Set potatoes in the morning. Removed
back into my little bedroom again
tidied the drawers. Did some sewing in evening.

4 TUESDAY
Glorius day. Pegged out clothes in
morning for Mummy. Went to Sutton
in afternoon. Got ready for school in evening.

5 WEDNESDAY
Started school again. A glorius day.
Had new cookery mistress, Miss Turner.
She doesn't seem too bad. Did gardening in
science. Sewed in evening.

6 THURSDAY
Did not go to school as felt sick.
Read most of the day and did
some sewing. Had a note from June.

7 FRIDAY
Did not go to school again. Read,
got the rabbits food, and did some
sewing. Had a nice letter from Betty
and a note from June.

8 SATURDAY
Helped Mummy in the morning and did
some cooking. Had a bath in afternoon.
Did some typing in evening with Mr
Constables type-writer which he lent us.
