Resolved.

1. That James P. Holcombe shall be and he is hereby appointed adjunct Professor in the School of Law in this University, who shall be changed with the duty of giving institution in the subjects of Equity & Com mercial Law, subject to like regulations as [then?] Pro fessors

2. He shall have a [sum?] assigned him in the precious and shall enjoy the use of the Library on like footing with other Professors, but shall receive no salary on emol ument from the University

3. His compensation shall be derived exclusively from the fees I aid by students to the school of Law, after these fees shall have amounted to the maximum allowed by the present law of the University to the Professor of Law. Provided, that when the compensa tion aforesaid to the adjunct Professor, shall reach the sum of $2000, any further fees in said school shall accumulate & be invested with a view to a more permanent endowment.

4. The fees in the school of Law shall be, for those who attend only the Junior class, the same as at present- for those who attend the Intermediate Class $60- and for those who attend the Senior Class $75, the payment of the higher fee [is?] either case giv ing admission to any Lower class-
