My dear Professor [i.e., Patrick Semple],

Many thanks. Now that you have given me the name, I find there is an interesting nitoce of Henry in the Dictionary of National Biography (ix.573), and it is there mentioned that Dr Mahaffy has written {caret: "an"} account of him in the Academy.
