A clear day. Snow on the ground yet. We all was here at dinner. Jim went to Marvins this morning. Ben went to Owens late this evening. Owens baby is sick. Josie and I got dinner. We did not get any supper. I think now I will be so glad when I can go a round and not be colde. Mabel has woke up. She is one of the worst babys that I have ever seen.
Josie washed some today. I staid with the children.
Solde reasonably well I think.
Ben gave me a pair of overshoes to night.
A very colde day. Partly cloudy. Jim & Ben hauled in some feed then stripped tobacco for Mr Owen. Tonight they went to Marvins to help tye tobacco. Josie ironed some this morning. We both had a hand in getting dinner. We cooked cabbage & beans and made a crum pudding. I have set by the fire all that I well could. The children went to school. Heard today that Dorothy Worsham has scarlet fever. Mrs Edmons is very sick. Her daughter Mrs Hutcherson went to stay with her. I hope they all will soon be well.
I have went to sleep and let my book fall twice. Dont know any thing worth writing so I will quit.
