A good day. Jim went home. Marvin went to Gretna. Jim went with him that far. Ben helped Owen strip tobacco a while. Ben & Josie and the little children went to the school house. The car stuck in the mud as they came back home.

Tonight Marvin & Ben went to the farmers meeting to night. Josie got dinner & supper. Lees folks are having a dance. Oscar has bin hunting some one to make musick. Mr Owen would not go. His baby is sick. Mrs Edmon is sick. Marvin went to see her this evening. I have not bin well today.

I have 5 little chickens. Hope I can rais them.

A good day. Jim helped Mr Owen strip tobacco. Henry went to school. Edna and I staid with Mabel and Franklin. Franklin was sick all night and part of today. He is better tonight.

Ben and Josie come from Charlottsvill to day. They had a blow out that delayed them some. I am so glad that they got home as well as they did.

Carrie come a few minutes this evening. She is bad off with a colde. Jim and Ben has gone to the school house to night to a farmers meeting.

A good day. Ben & Jim got up their corn by twelve oclock then Jim plowed and Ben and Josie went to Gretna. Bought a few things. I stayed with the baby. Henry & Edna and Franklin all went to school. Josie ironed some this morning. I got dinner. We all went to Marvins this evening. Mollie Reynolds was there. I was glad to see her.

Tonight Jim & Ben & Henry went to the school house to a meeting of the farmers. Mr McCormic staid at Marvins last night.

A rainy day. The boys at Tims planted tobacco this evening. Lizzie got dinner. Alma sowed. I mended some garments. Lizzies washer woman brought her clothes home this morning.

Tim Bennett has gone to a farmers meeting at the school house to night.

Gordon Bennett come over here today. I have wrote a letter home to night. Hope they may get it soon.

A good morning. Had a little rain this evening. It was badly needed and they need more so bad. The boys here sowed peas. Lizzie & Alma and Louise and I went to Chatham this evening after the rain. We had a good trip. I bought a pair of shoes and good to make a dress. We got home early enough to do the work ok.

Mr Bennett has gone to the school house to farmers meeting. We are fixin to go to bed.
