A good day. Jim & Ben brought Bell from Mr Laynes this morning.

Josie & I got dinner.

Doris & Janie and Aubra Brumfield come here this evening. Irvin Harvey & Reese & Paul Smith come a while. I went to Marvins a few minutes.

Josie got supper.

I put on a pair of bed room slippers that Josie gave me. I like them fine.

A clear colde day. Ben & Jim and I stripped tobacco. Josie got dinner. She had a good dinner.

Henry and Edna went to school.

Carrie come a few minutes this evening. While she was here Dave Walker come. He had not bin here in several years. We was all glad to see him but sorry that they had put him off his job.

Marvin is here tonight. They are all in the dineing room talking.

Henry has gone to Marvin to night to stay a while. Floid Reynols and Aubra Brumfield is there to night.

A good day. The boys planted corn all day. Josie washed windows and scrubed floors. I done nothing as usual. Josie baked a cake this evening.

Reese Smith carried me to White Falls. I fished. I caught 19 fish. Paul Smith went with us tonight. Floid Reynols & Aubra Brumfield come here and ask Henry to go camping. I dont like no such. Hope nothing nothing wont happen to them.

A good day. No rain last night to do any good.

We all staid at home until twelve then eat dinner. Ben & family and Julia Brumfield went to Jim Powers. Found them all well. Mrs Car & Miss Bessie Hobson there.

Jim & I went to Marvins. Jim & Marvin walked a bout all the evening. They are so dissaisfied with their crop and cant help themselves. Aubra & Emmet Brumfield was at Marvins this evening. Josie says that Fanny Power & Asa Anderson has come.

A hot dry day. Ben fired on his tobacco all day. Jim and Henry suckered tobacco until dinner.

Josie staid at the barn while Ben carried Jim to Gretna. Ben brought Elsie East & Effie Brumfield home from Gretna. Oscar Brumfield carried his mother and Hugh and Aubra Brumfield and Ralph East to White Falls. We caught several fish. Jim Thomson was there with his car. He brought us part the way home and I was glad that he did.
