A good day. The men folks finished cutting a house of tobacco. Board? and Tennie? Dews helped them.

Josie got dinner. Lizzie Bennett come home this morning. Denia come this evening. Mrs Edmons gave us some peaches today. We pealed and made pickle and canned them. There was enough to do a lot of good.

A rainy day. Ben and Owen fired tobacco all day. Josie had a hurting in her back and was not able to work this morning. Was some better off this evening and made some sweetmeats and pickle.

I got dinner and then went to see Carrie a while.

I am so sorry for Ben tonight. It is raining so hard and he is at the barn.

A good day there was frost this morning. The men finished cutting corn. Henry and Luke finished the corn while the others shocked. Josie got dinner.

I picked a few beans this evening. Josie sulphered some apples and made some pickle.

I dug a few potatoes and cut the sun flowers. To night Ben and Marvin has gone to Strait Stone for plow points.

A cloudy day. Ben worked on Owens house. Josie baked a cake this morning and got dinner then went to Marvins a little while then Ben and Josie went to Strait Stone come home and made some pickle.

I washed a little this morning. Ben found Bell with five little pigs this morning.

Henry is complaining to night.

A good day. The men worked tobacco this morning. Jim worked in the garden this evening and planted sweet potatoes. I went to Reynols's and got some slips. Josie went to John Hutchersons twise to day after meal. She got some this evening.

Josie made some pickle this morning and washed up her floor this evening.

Henry worked all day in the tobacco. Edna & Franklin was at Carries all the evening. I have not seen Paul Bennett yet. I begin to want to see him.
