A good day. No rain yet. We need it so bad.

Ben and Jim put a new floor in the dineing room. I am glad of it. We eat dinner under the mulberrie tree. Some men come here electtionneering. Jim Emerson come a while. I am glad he is well enough to go a round a gain.

Julia and Doris & Janie Brumfield come a while this morning. They went to Mags for dinner. Guess they went to Lees for to spend the evening. Josie ironed all evening and got supper.

The children went to Marvins this evening.

A good day. Ben carried Julia Brumfield to Long Island. All of the children went with him. They come by Jim Powers and Mrs Car come with them home.

Josie & I got dinner & was eating when they got here. I went to Carries a few minutes this evening.

Ben & Josie went to St Andrews to preaching. The preacher and his wife and dog come home with them. Josie done the best she could for them.

A good day as to weather. Plenty of snow on the groun. The children Henry and Edna went to school. Jim and Ben went to Renan. They walked. John come to see us tonight. I am glad that he came. Heard that Kate is getting on well they think. Jack Harvey is at home to see his mother. Nellie made the baby a dress today and done the cooking. Julia's children are sick and Jack Junior is sick. I do hope that the people will soon be well.
