A good day. Ben and Paul suckered tobacco. Ben and Josie Thelma and Paul went to Strait Stone at twelve staid a few minutes.

Josie and Thelma washed some this morning.

I got the dinner and boiled grapes. Josie put up 14 quarts of grape juice.

We gathered and picked off some grapes this evening and to night Thelma and Paul both picked til we finished.

A beautiful day.

Ben and Paul suckered tobacco. Josie got dinner and canned some tomatoes. This evening she scrubbed the cook room floor.

I went to see Mollie Reynolds. She is not well but a bout.

I did not see Miss Kate or Mrs Jane they were taking their evening nap. Doris Brumfield and Christine Reynolds and Delma Owen come to Marvins a while this evening.

A good day. Ben and Owen fired tobacco all day. Paul suckered tobacco. Ben and Josie went to Strait Stone a few minutes this evening.

Josie got dinner. We had snaps and peas the first peas that we had this year.

George Blair come over here and got some water melons this evening. Paul and Ben will stay at the barns to night.

9 30 oclock

Josie peeled and put out some apples to dry this evening.

A good day. Ben fired tobacco all day and is at the barn now. Paul suckered his tobacco this morning. This evening he helped Mr Dews tie leaves.

Josie washed this morning. This evening she cut off apples. Marvin come this evening and got two pigs.

A good day. Ben & Jim suckered tobacco most of the day. Mr. Owen went to meeting. Josie commenced work on some curtains.

This evening Josie kept Carries children. They did well to be so small.

Mary Brumfield went to see her Aunt Mag this evening & come to Aunt Mollies. Reubin Reynolds brough her home.

There was speakin at Renan this evening.
