A good day.

Ben and Paul worked tobacco all day. I washed a little this morning. Josie churned and got dinner. Baked a cake. This evening she washed the dining room floor.

George Worsham come here this evening assessing property. I planted sunflower seed this evening.

Tonight Ben has gone to Marvins to try and mend the freezer. Hope he can get it mended.

A good day and very warm. Ben and the children went to Strait Stone to Sunday School. Josie and I staid here and got dinner. Ben brough ice from Mr Thompsons. Josie made cream. Marvin and Carrie and all the children come and brought custard ready for freezin. The[y] made two freezers full. It was all good and we all enjoyed it so much. While we were eating Mr Mayhew and Dews and Owen and Board Dews all come. We had a plenty for them all.

Some of them played croquet.
