A good day. Some clouds this morning but no rain here. Ben finished cutting wheat at Marvins and at home.

Josie has had the tooth ache all day. I got dinner.

This evening Marvin let Paul Bennett carrie me & Henry to White Falls. We come with Robert Reynolds as far as Renan. Paul brough me home.

Gordon and Frances and Earl & Lizzie Bennett come down here this evening. Lizzie is with us tonight.

Henry and I had a good time if we did not catch many fish. Robert stopped at Alice Thomsons and got the ice cream freezer.

I had two invatations from the grand children to be at their graduations, one in Chatham and one in Richmond.

Ben and Josie went to Renan tonight.

A cloudy day. Rain tonight. Ben cut his oats to day. Jim come home from Chatham to night. He come with Johnson Reynolds.

Mrs. Owen come a while this evening. Brought her new baby Benjamine Franklin.

I went to George Blairs this evening. They were getting up their wheat.

Mr Charley Hutcherson was planting corn this evening on wheat land.

Isla Blair & Cordie was gone to Ren Worshams

10 oclock

Ben bought a sack of ship [?] stuff from Irvin Lewis.

A cloudy day. This morning the fences washed down and away. I lost a 4 galons of milk besides lots of other damage. Josie got dinner. Nellie sowed some on Josies dress. Evylin straitened up the parlor. I churned. It was a hard matter to get a fire a bout eleven oclock.

Mr Glass and Mr Vonwagner come. They eat dinner here. Nell & Evylin went with them to Chatham.

The boys killed the bees in two hives this evening.

Jim & Ben and Mr Owen went to Renan this evening. There has bin three or four cars passed here today. The roads are very bad.

Josie & the children and I went to Marvins this evening.

Paul Bennett got the car in the creek and never got home until twelve to day.

Rain a gain to day. Old as I am I don't think I ever saw such a time. Jim & Marvin an Paul Bennett all started to Chatham this morning. We have not heard a word from them yet. Carrie & the children staid here all day and they are here tonight. Jack Harvey come to see us today. He is lookin well. Heard to day that Mrs Hutcherson had come home. Hope she may get well.

I had a letter from John to day.

Alma Bennett made me a bonnet to day.

Cloudy most of the day but no rain. Ben went to Strait Stone this evening and got roofing for the barns and ice cream freezer. Owen went some where and got some pigs.

Josie got dinner. I went to Johnson Reynolds. Julia Fergerson was there and Cliftons wife & baby came this evening.

Mollie Reynolds went to see Mrs Hutcherson. She is mighty feeble. Paul Bennett come from Chatham to day. Marvin did not come. Kate went to Strait Stone this evening. Reese Smith carried her. I walked to Reynolds and walke most every where else that I can.

Oh that I could help my self.
