A rainy day. We went down town. Come home and eat dinner. Effie locked the doors and could not unlock them so she got a man to come and bring a ladder and climed up on the porch and went in at the window. We have eaten supper and will go down town to night I guess. Hope to be at home this time tomorrow and hope to find them all well. Cordie got her glasses today.

Josie staid at the barn while Ben carried Jim to Gretna. Ben brought Elsie East & Effie Brumfield home from Gretna. Oscar Brumfield carried his mother and Hugh and Aubra Brumfield and Ralph East to White Falls. We caught several fish. Jim Thomson was there with his car.
