A good day. Just at night we had a shower.

Ben and Owen and Paul Bennett fixed up the fence this morning and plowed this evening.

Josie got dinner and churned. Marvin carried me and Henry and Denia Blair to Cedar Forest. We fished but did not catch anything. Reubin Reynolds come to see Paul to night. I am glad that he did.

A good morning rain this evening.

Marvin brought Mollie Reynolds and I to Altavista this morning. We staid at Lynchburg until after three oclock then come to Peters Burg and from there to Richmond.

Willie come after us at the depo. It thundered and rained all the evening.

Some young man helped us with our suitcases I will remember him with pleasure.

A rainy morning clear this evening. Effie Brumfield Mollie Reynolds and [I] went in town this evening. Went to see the moving pictures. We went a gain to night. Willie and Mary went with us.

I think Richmond a mighty pretty place.

We went in the green house and looked a round. There is lots of pretty plants there.

This is wrote May the 15th in the morning before breakfast.

A good day. We had a good rain last night. We planted tobacco all day. The men folks planted and Mrs Owen and I drawed plants. Josie got dinner and churned.

Some men come to see Ben about a school.

Ben put the pigs in a pen last night.

A good morning. Rain this evening.

The menfolks planted tobacco all day. Mr Dews helped them this evening.

I went to Blairs this morning and got potatoe slips. Mrs Owen and I drawed plants part of the day.

Josie ironed this morning and churned and got dinner.

Kate Harvey solde her cow to day we guess. She passed here some one driving her.
